Procurement Specialist

Inisys Africa Bim Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the steel or automotive manufacturing industry, leveraging experience and expertise to drive business success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Purchasing supplies on a daily basis, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
2. Receiving and inspecting incoming supplies to ensure quality and accuracy.
3. Negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms.
4. Managing invoicing and payment processes, maintaining accurate records and reports.
5. Implementing effective stock control measures to minimize losses and maximize returns.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the steel or automotive manufacturing sector.
• Matric certification as a minimum educational requirement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Sage Evolution software is essential.
• Excellent communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• The ability to develop effective working relationships and trust with colleagues.
• Results-driven approach with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
