Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Analyze data and generate insights from financial reports to drive better business performance.
- Reporting and Coordination: Manage all coordination needed with regions and group to obtain necessary information for analysis, insights, and enablement.
- Financial Management: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with requirements for actual and planning cycles.
- Business Partnering: Provide support to our subsidiaries during month-end closure, forecast, and budget cycles.
- Process Improvement: Contribute towards the development and improvement of financial policies, procedures, and systems of internal controls in line with our internal control processes.
- Performance Reporting: Review and report financial information accurately and timeously.
- External Reporting: Support with external reporting, confirming figures to our Investor Relations team.
- Process Automation: Assist with process automation and testing, preparing schedules/templates to support the reporting of financial data for actual and planning cycles.
- Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with our major shareholder and with subsidiaries.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis requests within the division.
- Education: B.Com Accounting Honours degree or CA/CIMA with relevant experience.
- Experience: 6+ years related experience or 3+ years post articles related experience.
- Skills: Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis acquired through related work experience. Experience in HFM, management reporting, and analysis is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and knowledge and understanding of financial applications.
