Job Overview

The Workshop Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities maintenance team. This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to manage and maintain a variety of equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage activities in the workshop and ensure cost control.
  • Facilitate maintenance and repairs of laboratory and other equipment.
  • Maintain control over budgets and liaise with project managers.
  • Organize and manage workshop personnel to ensure productivity and quality of maintenance work.
  • Review and source resources as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or similar Electronic qualification or skills.
  • Language proficiency in English and Afrikaans (read, write, speak).
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Competent in maintenance and health and safety protocols.
  • Supervisory skills and experience.
