Job Overview:

This role will oversee the IVM business and drive growth expectations with IVM products to distributors. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the crop protection industry, and the ability to analyze and interpret data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Management:
    • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, head office staff, and team members.
    • Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Forecasting and Planning:
    • Develop and manage forecasts of IVM products and track accuracy.
    • Align forecasts with budgets and identify areas for improvement.
    • Monitor price/volume/sales/gross profit (actual vs forecast vs last year) to achieve budget.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support to distributors, agents, and farmers.
    • Handle complaints and liaise with the technical department.
  • Marketing and Sales:
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing plans.
    • Conduct market research and gather intelligence on competitors.
    • Develop and submit proposals to the marketing department.

Internal and External Interactions:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on new product launches, technical training, and marketing activities.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including farmers and researchers.
