Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise the Accounts Payable team in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
  2. Review and verify invoices for accuracy, tax compliance and matching to purchase orders.
  3. Ensure correct expense allocation and management of AP ageing.
  4. Balance Accounts Payable ledger to the General Ledger.
  5. Resolve payment related queries and maintain organized recordkeeping.
  6. Reconcile travel advances and ensure correct cost allocation for SLAs.
  7. Perform month-end processes including re-allocations of expenses and accruals.
Requirements
  1. Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Accounting software.
  2. Tertiary qualification in accounting or bookkeeping.
  3. Knowledge of Input VAT and working experience in accounts payable/creditors is an advantage.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and accuracy & attention to detail.
  5. Deadline oriented and comfortable interacting with internal clients at senior level and suppliers.
