Job Summary:

The Director of Commercial Operations will be responsible for setting and leading the strategic commercial direction for the Operations department. This includes designing, implementing, and managing financial processes to enhance operational efficiency, drive cost optimization, and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and lead the commercial strategy for the Operations department
  • Develop and implement financial processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Cultivate a high-performance team culture, empowering employees to reach their full potential
  • Provide strong leadership in overseeing relationships with vendors and subcontractors
  • BUILD AND SUSTAIN A CULTURE OF FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE
  • Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls
  • Provide financial insights into network performance and CAPEX initiatives
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Advise on contracts for Operations and Maintenance suppliers
  • Manage cash flow processes and financial risks in Operations
  • Drive cost optimization, process efficiency, and compliance

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Financial Reporting, Business Development, or Strategic Reporting
  • 5 years of experience leading a team of two or more
  • Proven track record in P&L management at a divisional level within a multinational company
  • Extensive experience overseeing debtor and creditor teams
  • Practical expertise in working with Oracle systems
