The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to production and supporting engineering projects and processes to ensure the manufacturing of quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drawings, fundamentals of fault finding and equipment testing, and sound knowledge on H&S and safe working procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical support to production
  • Supporting engineering projects and processes
  • Ensuring the manufacturing of quality products

### Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Matric and 10 years in plastics industry
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Sound understanding of drawings
  • Fundamentals of fault finding and equipment testing
  • Sound knowledge on H&S and safe working procedures
  • Technical knowledge of process, inclusive of equipment, raw materials, moulds, downstream equipment, run in department
  • Relevant quality system and certification as required
