Job Overview
Maintenance and repair of high-voltage electrical systems at Gomag's premises are critical to powering our innovative operations. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be at the core of ensuring smooth operation, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
• General upkeep of electrical installations, systems, and equipment in multiple buildings.
• Inspect, record, and correct electrical issues as per standards and protocols.
• Adhere to safety performance standards, protocols, and lockout procedures for high-voltage systems.
• Regularly inspect tools for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and organized workshop and working areas.
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical reticulation and equipment.
• Perform maintenance on kitchen and other equipment as required.
• Complete day-to-day maintenance work in and around offices and buildings.
• Replace or fix fixtures and fittings as needed.
• Record and report monthly on all completed work.
• Manage inventory, budgeting for stock, tools, and equipment.
• Notify the Property Manager when external contractors need to be contacted.
• Collaborate with contractors providing SLA services.
• Assist the Property Manager with ad hoc requests.

Requirements
• Grade 12 or N3 equivalent qualification.
• Red Seal Certification and Three Phase Electrical Tester qualification.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the electrical field.
• Strong knowledge of electrics and general building maintenance.
• Health and Safety knowledge is essential.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Wiremen's license is mandatory.
