We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team at Tower Group. As a key member of our property management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial properties.
Your primary duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate records of rental payments and following up on overdue accounts;
- Investigating and resolving credit balances, ensuring corrections or refunds are processed monthly in collaboration with the Billing Team;
- Oversight of contract creation, coordination with brokers and the legal department, preparation of commission calculations and lease packs, and management of cession and cancellation agreements;
- Tenant move-ins and move-outs, including conducting inspections and key handovers;
- Lease renewal processes, liaison with tenants, coordination of credit vetting and risk ratings, and additional FICA documents;
- Document storage administration on MDA and company server; and
- Data integrity, ensuring completeness and accuracy of lease documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a commercial property management environment;
- Practical expertise in the field, with proficiency in MS Office and property management systems such as SAP or MDA;
- Effective telephonic communication skills and strong organisational and administrative capabilities;
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication, with familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
- Understanding of financial principles and practices related to commission calculations, turnover reports, and expense reporting; and
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing various types of documentation, including lease agreements, cession documents, and commission claims.
