We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Clicks Group. The successful candidate will have a strong planning and buying background with a solid understanding of financial and statistical analysis.

Main Tasks

  • Develop and implement statistical, promotional, event and total forecasts for all new and existing product ranges.
  • Track and correct forecast exceptions to ensure sales are aligned with forecast and validate forecast for OTB management.
  • Analyze causal factors impacting forecasts and adjust accordingly (weather, moving events, promotions etc.).
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to determine trends, identify new products, evaluate risks and determine inventory and replenishment requirements.
  • Produce and present accurate and timely management reports to maintain key metrics against goals and ensure forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.
  • Review post promotional and event data to identify opportunities, improve future forecasts and make necessary adjustments for inventory disposition.
  • Organize and facilitate the consensus forecast meetings with key stakeholders to enhance key insights and decisions taken.
  • E nsure the history data cleansing process is followed to improve sales history.
  • Support the Category Team to coordinate the range review process and decision making to determine optimal range.
  • Pursue opportunities to maximize sales potential and collaborate with the Category team to develop Category Operating Plans and other initiatives to achieve sales, margin and stock targets.
