Job Description:

The Medical Liaison Specialist will play a critical role in executing the company's Medical Affairs Plan. This involves developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in the therapeutic area, providing strategic input to business decision-making, and communicating medical scientific data to leading specialists.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical and scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area
  • Develop and maintain a network of leading specialists
  • Provide strategic input to the company's medical affairs plan and business decision-making
  • Communicate medical scientific data to leading specialists
  • Organize and participate in medical education activities and advisory boards
  • Support sales representatives with training and scientific communication
  • Contribute to the development of the company's medical affairs plan and business strategy

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a scientific degree: medical doctor, pharmaceutical or natural science university degree or related qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or research company with project management capabilities
  • Medical and clinical experience preferred
  • Deep scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area
  • Business acumen and ability to work within a matrix
