Job Description

At EQ Plus, we are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automated Testing: Write, design, and execute automated tests using scripts that run testing functions automatically for Backend, Frontend, and API automation.
  • Test Coverage: Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
  • Test Planning: Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
  • Documentation: Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
  • Test Automation Frameworks: Build and maintain test automation frameworks that are fit for purpose and applicable to project scope.
  • Issue Research: Research and troubleshoot issues in software through testing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Set up and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps.
  • Test Scheduling: Perform test scheduling and execution (manual and automated).
  • Test Data: Identify and create test data.
  • Test Cases: Prepare and design test cases, assist with the scripting of automated test cases, conditions, and checkpoints.
  • Test Reporting: Perform test reporting based on coverage and clearance statistics.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring resolution within release timeframes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and report risks.
  • Scope and Effort Estimation: Perform scope and test effort estimations.
