Requirements

A Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification) with Accounting or Mathematics as passed subjects is required. Additionally, a proven working knowledge/exposure in MS Office packages (MS Word and Excel) is essential.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of financial functions, practices, and the ability to capture data, operate computer, and collate financial statistics. They will also have knowledge of public service financial legislations, procedures, and processes, including National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions, and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), 1999.

Skills needed include written and verbal communication, proven computer literacy, planning and organizing, interpersonal skills, decision-making, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure.
