Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Director to lead our Project Management Office (PMO). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning project management practices with company goals and developing innovative methodologies to deliver high-quality projects.

You will support and inspire the project management team, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment where excellence thrives. You will work closely with Client Services and key stakeholders to ensure smooth, integrated processes that drive successful project outcomes and exceed client expectations.

Your responsibilities will include tracking project performance using KPIs, proactively addressing risks, and ensuring timely project delivery by escalating issues when needed. You will manage resource planning and allocation effectively, while upholding high quality standards and continuously improving through client feedback.

A strong commercial focus is required for project planning, scope management, and reporting, ensuring seamless processes and successful project execution.

We offer a competitive salary of $175,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

We require:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification / Agile Certification (Practitioner) is highly desirable, along with any IT qualifications.
  • A minimum of 12 years managing medium to large-scale IT projects, with a strong focus on project and change management methodologies, particularly in a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking abilities, effectively juggling multiple goals and deadlines while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Proven capability to mentor and coach others, while building strong relationships at the executive level with technology customers and vendor groups.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement effective resolutions, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness in challenging situations.
  • Strong budgeting management skills and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Project Office, MS Office, and Smartsheets, along with experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital sectors.
