About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As HSE Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation as a trusted and reliable partner in the energy sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs, policies, and procedures tailored to the unique challenges of our machine shop operations.
  • Lead and facilitate HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure a high level of awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and inspections of equipment, machinery, and work areas to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HSE considerations into daily operations.
  • Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and develop detailed reports with actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, regional, and international HSE regulations and standards applicable to the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Monitor and track key HSE performance indicators, preparing regular reports for management to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with external regulatory agencies and industry partners as needed to ensure compliance and share best practices.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness, ownership, and accountability among all employees, encouraging active participation in safety initiatives.
  • Oversee emergency response plans and drills, ensuring preparedness and effective execution in critical situations.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to assess HSE program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management, with a significant portion gained in a machine shop or related manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing and managing HSE programs to improve safety performance and minimize risks.
  • Proficiency in using HSE management systems and software tools to track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Relevant professional certifications or memberships in HSE-related associations are desirable.

Location: This position is based in Saudi Arabia.

Salary: The estimated annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000.
