Job DescriptionHSE Controller Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing security operations and access control, ensuring effective control measures are in place. They will also perform and assist with incident investigation and identification of root cause and corrective and preventative measures.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage Security Operations: Ensure that all security protocols are implemented and enforced to prevent any incidents or breaches.
  2. Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into any incidents that occur on site, identifying the root cause and implementing corrective and preventative measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  3. Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Implement and maintain an effective Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment programme to ensure that all potential hazards are identified and mitigated.
  4. Liaison with Emergency Services: Liaise with emergency services to ensure that all procedures are followed in the event of an emergency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Qualification: Grade 12
  • Desirable Qualifications: National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
  • Key Skills: Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and risk control standards, ability to plan, organise, co-ordinate and facilitate, strong investigative skills, ability to perform risk assessments
