Lecturer in Computer Assisted Technology

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced academic to join our faculty as a Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Information Technology (IT) Education & Computer Assisted Technology (CAT) Education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching and assessing students in IT Education, CAT Education, and related subjects;
- Conducting research and publishing papers in top-tier journals;
- Developing and implementing curriculum frameworks that integrate community engagement with learning and teaching;
- Serving on committees devoted to the development of the Business Sciences Education Cluster and faculty objectives;
- Providing academic leadership and mentoring junior staff members.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in Information Technology (IT) Education or Computer Science Education, with a strong track record of quality academic research. They should also have experience in facilitating learning and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
A key requirement for this role is a demonstrated ability to integrate community engagement with learning and teaching, as well as a strong understanding of the national imperatives for education and training in the 21st century.
