Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose complex problems with machinery and equipment.
- Installation and Relocation: Install new equipment and relocate existing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Servicing and Adjustments: Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment.
- Red Seal Qualification: Possess a Red Seal qualification in a relevant trade, such as millwright or industrial mechanic.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Additionally, have understanding of relays, motor contactors, motor starters, solid state relays, soft starts, and variable frequency drives.
The estimated salary for this role is R550,000 - R750,000 per annum, depending on experience.
