We are seeking an experienced Compliance Auditor to join our team at Westfalia Fruit. As a leading multinational supplier of fresh fruit and related value-added products to global markets, we operate a vertically-integrated supply chain that enables us to grow, source, ripen, pack, process and market quality avocados & fresh produce – 365 days a year & across the globe.

About the Role

The Compliance Auditor will be responsible for ensuring that our financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent future discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and adapt our processes accordingly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Professional certification in auditing or accounting (e.g. CA(SA))
  • At least 5 years of experience in auditing or accounting
Experience
  • Previous experience in the Agricultural industry will be an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
