Architecture Lecturer

The successful candidate will teach allocated modules, engage students, and track module pacers to identify at-risk students. They will also develop assessments, manage student administrative support, and analyze academic results to evaluate performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering lectures and engaging students based on module-specific requirements
- Managing resources, including academic materials and liaising with the Information Centre
- Updating the Learning Management System and providing feedback to students
- Engaging and preparing students for assessments, identifying at-risk students, and developing assessments in accordance with Central Academic Team briefings
- Monitoring student engagement and assessment submission with relevant escalation
Qualifications include a Diploma in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or related fields. A minimum of 3 years' lecturing experience and industry-specific experience are required. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the South African higher education system and regulatory framework.
