Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Server Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Wintel technologies and experience with Windows server management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining Windows operating systems on over 1000 servers. They will also be required to resolve user issues, address management requests, and implement security measures to protect our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Server Security patch management for more than 1000 servers
  • Server Application patch management for more than 1000 servers
  • Desktop Security patch management for +/- 1000 end points
  • Create and maintain patch schedules
  • Implement and maintain KMS (Centralized Server License solutions)
  • Implement and maintain RDP (Centralized Server for RDP authentication)
  • Maintain N-1 for Server OS's that assist with PCI-DSS certification
  • Server Migrations and Cloning
  • Server Builds and Domain registrations
  • Maintain relevant SOP's and Low Level Designs
  • Maintain SCCM for patching and create roll-out packages
  • Maintain SCOM for real-time infrastructure events
  • Service request and Incident handling
  • Maintain and excel in an IT environment managing 2000+ end points
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and 2019
  • Sound knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Strong technical abilities for hands-on configuration correction
  • Working experience within IT Operations and infrastructure services support
  • Understanding of physical server maintenance and virtual server infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • SCOM and Microfocus Ops Bridge integration
  • SCCM and Intune integration
  • Experience in hardware skills (server and network)
  • Change Management
  • Test and certify new versions of Windows operating systems
  • Maintain and support multi-site Windows environments
  • Competencies in Disaster Recovery methodologies
  • Integrate the server automation process
  • Understanding of group policy and Active Directory management
  • Good analytical ability for problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Team player
  • Ensure excellent customer service
