Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Sea Harvest Corporation Ltd.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong financial management and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting, analysis, budgeting, and forecast information.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Ledger Provision Reconciliations: Ensure all reconciliations are completed on time and accurately, with all reconciling items cleared promptly.
  • Journals Preparation: Prepare journals accurately, including monthly accrual journals.
  • Cost Centre Expense Reports: Compile and distribute monthly cost centre expense reports, obtaining information from Qlikview/Qliksense/NAV, formatting reports as required, and distributing with insightful commentary.
  • Operating Expense Reports: Prepare Consolidated Fixed and Variable Operating Expense reports for Monthly and board packs, including insightful commentary.
  • Budget Reports: Prepare and consolidate Fixed Operating expense budget and required budget reports.
  • Selling Expense Cost Rate Tables: Review and maintain selling expense cost rate tables, ensuring cost rate tables are aligned to actual selling expenses.
  • Factory Shops Income Statements: Prepare Factory Shops income statements.
  • Sales Pack Reports: Prepare monthly sales pack reports, compiling various sales reports for the various markets/divisions as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Excel.
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Good computer literacy in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
  • Administrative skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of key business processes and practices.
  • Demonstrates influencing skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail.
  • Methodical and meticulous.
  • Responsive; Energetic.
  • Ability to function independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to filter information and assess priorities.
