The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with significant experience in the construction industry. A degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering is required, along with 5+ years of experience in the construction of power plants, preferably PV and/or BESS plants. A certification in PMP, SACPCMP, or equivalent is also essential.

You will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also necessary for success in this role.

A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required for frequent travel between Cape Town and various Northern Cape sites. You must also be willing to reside on-site for extended periods. A clear criminal and credit record, as well as contactable references, are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects
  • Lead a team of site engineers and technicians to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
