Job Overview

The Head of IT Assurance and Digital Innovation plays a pivotal role in enhancing quality within our network and driving digital transformation. Key performance areas include:

IT Audit:

  • Developing and implementing a risk-based IT audit methodology and plan.
  • Conducting research and preparing recommendations for the Technical Committee on topical IT audit matters.
  • Creating guidance for the network on IT audit technical matters.
  • Preparing and/or updating relevant IT audit templates or working papers.
  • Providing IT audit technical consultations within the network.
  • Maintaining regular interactions with member firms, discussing topical IT audit matters with engagement partners and leadership.
  • Preparation of high-quality guidance documents/written reports.
  • Participating in network-related quality initiatives/projects.
  • Conducting audits of IT systems, applications, and processes.
  • Reviewing and enhancing IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of data and information controls.

Digital Innovation:

  • Leading the development and execution of digital transformation strategies.
  • IDentifying opportunities for leveraging new technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences.
  • Managing digital projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and digital initiatives.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in digital innovation.

Requirements

  • Certified Accountant (SA) with training in public practice (external audit).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit and digital innovation roles.
  • Professional certifications like CISA, CRISC, or CISM are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and audit practices.
  • A proven track record of managing digital projects and driving innovation.
  • Advanced risk management and audit skills.
  • Strong IT governance and compliance knowledge.
  • Proficiency in digital technologies and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
