Job Summary

Provide administrative and operational support to the Senior Corporate Tax Consultant in respect of Corporate Tax related matters, ensuring compliance and efficiency in tax processes.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Corporate Tax Support: Assist with tax compliance, disputes, and correspondence.
  2. Dividends Tax: Review and submit completed Dividends Tax returns and supporting documentation.
  3. Inter-departmental Collaboration: Liaise with departments to obtain necessary supporting documentation.
  4. SARS Interaction: Address tax queries, follow-ups, and compliance matters as required.
  5. Client and Compliance Management:
    1. Maintain accurate client tax files and records.
    2. Manage a register of tax matters to ensure proper tracking and resolution.
    3. Invoice various tax compliance tasks as completed.
    4. Monthly invoice client groups.

Essential Requirements

  1. BCom Accounting degree or equivalent.
  2. Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles (preferable).
  3. Proficiency in SARS E-Filing.
  4. Valid driver's license.
