SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Metallurgist to join our team in Cape Town.
The estimated salary for this position is R550,000 - R750,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented metallurgist with 2-5 years' experience in a metallurgical manufacturing/production environment to lead our production optimization efforts.
- This role involves project management, including process design and layout work, as well as quality control and implementing systems to support product realization.
- You will be responsible for liaising with various service providers, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and facilitating repairs.
- A willingness to get hands dirty assisting with engineering requirements is essential.
