Plant Superintendent

Job Title:

Professional Appointments CC is seeking a Plant Superintendent to oversee all aspects of plant production, including Stamping and Steel Production, Warehouse, Maintenance Toolroom.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for driving project objectives, coordinating automation improvements, and preparing capital requests.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring objective achievement, conducting quality planning exercises, ensuring company business processes meet supplier specifications and customer demands, and reporting on budget utilization.

You will also be responsible for taking responsibility for manufacturing activities, ensuring that customer requirements & quality standards are met timeously & cost-effectively, and ensuring health, safety, security and plant maintenance regulations are adhered to.

In addition, you will develop & maintain quality procedures & guidelines, carry out regular performance appraisals, manage industrial relations, and set and ensure that operational targets are met.
