About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join the team at The Foschini Group (TFG) in Cape Town. As a key member of our store development team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process for all centrally planned Fixtures and Furniture (F&F) components and Visual Merchandising (VM) equipment for all TFG retail brands.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams, to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet business needs.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd-party suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate logistics, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing insights into procurement performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's procurement strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven expertise in central planning, warehouse management, and distribution.
  • Familiarity with SAP and COUPA systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
