Job Title: Sales Representative

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for procuring business from new and existing customers, managing agents, and fostering strong relationships with the entire customer base.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining sound customer relationships
  • Providing technical advice and training, including presentations
  • Conducting checks on batteries, voltages, and SG's
  • Measuring battery compartments for forklifts and other equipment
  • Soliciting new customers and servicing existing ones
  • Handling customer complaints and queries
  • Managing budgets, sales, and expenses
  • Meeting sales targets and deadlines
  • Compiling quotations, negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions
  • Reviewing cost and sales performance
  • Forecasting sales opportunities and pipeline, customer progress reports
  • Selling the company's complete product offering
  • Following up on deliveries

Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or N3 Electrical Engineering
  • 2 to 4 years of related sales experience in the material handling sector
  • Preference given to candidates with a college certificate/diploma in Sales & Marketing
  • Strong Communication Skills
