We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team in Bellville, Cape Town. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our investment and asset management company.

Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Operations Manager with a strong background in financial services, specifically in operations management, to lead our operations team in Bellville. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operations team in Bellville, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
  • Develop and implement effective operating procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver required service levels, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions, maintaining accurate financial records and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
  • Manage and optimize the SQL data framework, automating and standardizing processes for trade and reconciliation handling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations management, with a strong background in financial services.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of SQL data frameworks and experience with data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
