Job Title: Senior SAP SD Consultant

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD consultant to join our team in Pretoria. As an SAP SD consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Analysis: Understand business requirements, prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtain sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design documents.
  2. Solution Design: Propose solutions to improve support of new business processes.
  3. ABAP Development: Debug ABAP code using Workbench-related knowledge of new development/enhancements.
  4. Configuration: Set up organization structure for Sales & Distribution processes and perform relevant configuration, including Materials Management where integration is required.
  5. Testing: Prepare testing documents and perform internal testing.
  6. Integration Testing: Perform integration testing with other modules.
  7. Interface Management: Understand interfaces, IDOCs, and RFCs processing.
  8. Cutover Strategy: Prepare cutover strategy for SD objects.
  9. User Support: Provide user support and training on business process owners.
  10. Go-Live Preparation: Assist with go-live preparation and post-go-live support.
  11. Ticket Resolution: Resolve Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLAs.
  12. System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot system issues and provide support.
  13. Change Execution: Execute required changes through configuration.
  14. Production Support: Analyze and resolve Production Support calls.
  15. Change Request: Raise Change Requests (CRs) and write Functional Specifications for them.
  16. Test Data: Prepare test data for testing of CRs.
  17. Regression Testing: Carry out regression testing.
  18. Collaboration: Interact with consultants of other modules.
  19. Quality Assurance: Steer external consultants in allocating deliverables to feature teams and serve as quality assurance of their deliverables.
  20. User Interface: Develop transactional solutions for user interface.
  21. Role Analysis: Analyze and scope End-user authorisation roles.
  22. Documentation: Update and maintain documentation as existing system functionality is changed.
  23. Agile Methodology: Execute according to Agile Methodology and attend all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings, etc.
  24. Agile Tool Chain: Daily use of Agile Tool Chain, as per updates required by feature teams.
