Job Summary

The Senior Psychologist - Student Counselling Programme Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, developing, and implementing effective student counselling programmes and services to the university community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise site-specific programme and service delivery, including the management of site human resources, equipment, and consumables.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report functions to ensure alignment with the university's mission and goals.
  • Develop and implement programme development and implementation strategies across all sites.
  • Provide professional counselling services to university students in accordance with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) Scope of Practice for Psychologists.
  • Enhance accessibility to services through internal and external community engagement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychologist (Counselling, Clinical, or Educational).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in student counselling, career, and development programmes and services.
