We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Manager to join Isilumko Staffing and contribute to our business and digital strategy through the development and management of value-added analytics, business insights, reports, and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team and oversee team deliverables, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve people and conflict resolution within the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to extract insights from complex datasets, supporting data-driven decision-making efforts across the organization.
  • AI/ML Strategy: Contribute to shaping the organization's AI/ML strategy, including the development of new AI/ML models that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and refine monthly dashboards using Excel and Power BI to provide stakeholders with accurate and actionable insights.
  • Data Presentation: Understand, interpret, and present financial, client, and other data to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Business Intelligence: Consolidate, analyze, interpret, and provide high-quality business intelligence and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Support: Support stakeholders with data, insights, query resolution, and ad hoc analysis of data as needed to inform their decision-making processes.
  • Report Writing: Produce targeted reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations to inform stakeholder decision-making.
  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategy for the business by providing insights and managing data analysis and interpretation on strategic issues and business-related challenges.
  • Training and Development: Train stakeholders on how to use business intelligence tools to aid in their decision-making processes, improving their analytical skills and capabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and systems by recommending effective ways to operate and add value to the organization.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualifications: Professional qualifications or an Honours Degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred Qualification: CA/CFA/FRM qualification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a financial/analytical role within the financial industry.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and TM1.
  • Business Writing: Strong business writing and communication skills to effectively articulate complex ideas and insights.
  • Financial Management: Understanding of financial management principles and decision-making processes.
