Edge Executives is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance.
- Patient Care Planning and Delivery: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care planning and delivery, meeting hospital targets for quality and patient satisfaction.
- Nursing Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and protocols, maintaining the highest levels of care and safety for patients.
- Staff Management and Development: Oversee the implementation of nursing strategies, manage nursing budgets, resources, and equipment, and drive the implementation of quality initiatives to maintain and improve patient outcomes.
- Communication and Liaison: Act as a key liaison between nursing staff and senior management, facilitating effective communication and feedback.
- Education and Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Nursing, Post-graduate qualification in Nursing Management, and current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience in a medium to large hospital setting and at least 5 years of proven leadership and management experience in a medium or large healthcare facility.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem-solving, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, financial and business acumen, and sound knowledge of clinical governance and patient care principles.
