Key Responsibilities- Workshop Management: Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI's): Conduct thorough inspections of new units to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to technicians on technical matters, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks to the highest standard.
- Warranty Claims: Coordinate and follow up on warranty claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Service Bulletins: Ensure that all service bulletins are completed and signed off, maintaining accurate records of all work completed.
- Fault Diagnosis: Conduct thorough fault diagnosis to identify the root cause of any issues, ensuring that the most cost-effective and accurate remedy is implemented.
- Machine Care and Safety: Ensure that all machines are maintained in a safe and clean condition, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
- SHEQ and ISO: Maintain accurate records of all SHEQ and ISO activities, ensuring that our department is compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Customer Communication: Ensure effective communication with customers, providing them with regular updates on the status of their vehicles.
- Qualifications: Must have a Diesel/Auto Electric/Forklift trade test certificate and a minimum of 5 years' relevant post-trade qualified experience or similar.
- Experience: Supervisory or management experience would be advantageous.
- Skills: Computer literate (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and strong technical aptitude.
