Teaching Opportunity for Woodwork Specialist

Edustaff is partnering with a non-profit organisation that focuses on vocational training and education for high school students with diverse learning needs.

The school provides a supportive environment for students who require alternative learning approaches. Our client's unique academic and vocational programs prepare students for the workforce and beyond.

Job Requirements
  • A qualified carpenter with teaching experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 4-7 years of teaching experience in a senior primary school setting.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse learners is an asset.
  • The teacher should be proficient in administration, lesson planning, and curriculum development.
  • They should be able to create engaging, practical teaching materials and differentiate learning approaches to suit individual needs.
  • The teacher should be flexible and able to adapt to various learning styles, including group, one-on-one, and experiential learning.
  • They should be comfortable using technological aids and have a passion for imparting knowledge to learners.
  • The teacher should be nurturing, empathetic, and firm, with the ability to teach students who function at a senior primary level.
