Job Overview
Tower Group is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cyber security solutions that protect critical assets across the markets, Hub, and AWS.

This position requires a strong understanding of cyber security best practices and the ability to design solutions that meet these standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting research on new areas in security, designing cyber security solutions, defining technical requirements, and leading testing and implementation efforts.

This role also involves ensuring high availability and disaster recovery in accordance with best practices and recommending major upgrades where required.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to conduct knowledge transfer to other team members on new or topical areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on new areas in security to input to cyber strategy.
  • Design cyber security solutions in line with best practices to ensure deployment of best-in-class solutions.
  • Define cyber security technical requirements and acceptance criteria for new systems.
  • Conduct proof of concepts for cyber security solutions.
  • Lead in testing, implementation, deployment, and commissioning of new solutions.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery in accordance with best practices for solutions deployed.
  • Recommend major upgrades where required and work with the operations team to implement.
  • Ensure all security programs are continually improved to maximize on their returns/benefits.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to other team members/staff on new or topical areas.
