Lead Plant Operations

The Plant Operations Lead will oversee the design and delivery of engineering plans and projects for all SOAF (Southern Africa) plants. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering plans and projects for plant infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and budget.
  • Maintain production plant infrastructure equipment parameters within acceptable specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years' experience in FMCG or related industry.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD 2D layout.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with 5S and lean management tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
