The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to achieve company goals, and managing a team of direct reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement feasible new business concepts in alignment with company targets.
  • Set up and achieve budgets, ensuring financial performance meets expectations.
  • Analyze and report on financial data, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage supply chains, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • IDentify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead performance management and development of direct team members.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A matric plus relevant degree in B.Comm Supply Chain, B.Tech degree, or Advanced Diploma in Engineering or Materials Technology.
  • 7 years' experience in supply chain management and account executive roles, preferably in the metals/recycling sector.
  • 7 years' experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • PREFERRED skills include business automation experience and SAP proficiency, as well as knowledge of different metals/commodities and their applications.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.
