Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Objective Personnel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve warehouse operations and manage logistics, transportation, and customer service.
  • Manage and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy, supervising the cycle counting process and planning and organizing the annual count.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the vehicle fleet and implement new projects to build a Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Lead, develop, and manage warehouse staff, evaluating and developing the team to grow and learn daily.
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure optimum levels of packaging and costs are maintained.
  • Provide support in solving day-to-day operational issues and resolve any arising problems or escalating issues as required.
  • Budget control of the warehouse expenses to identify cost opportunities, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a warehouse and logistics operations environment, managing various distribution sites.
  • Experience managing OHS and Safety guidelines.
  • Excellent computer skills, previous experience using NAV or Microsoft Business Central, will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience implementing/maintaining 5S and Lean Principles.
