Job Title: Commercial Financial Manager

Job Summary:

The Commercial Financial Manager position at Network Recruitment is a key role that involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with deep experience in the tourism or hospitality sectors, possessing a track record of driving profitability and ensuring financial transparency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiencies across departments.
  • Analyse financial performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement to support revenue growth.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and support working capital optimization efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and maintain high-quality financial controls.
  • Work with external auditors during audit processes and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required, with a preference for candidates with experience in tourism or hospitality.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the tourism or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and profitability drivers relevant to the tourism/hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
