The Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) is seeking a skilled Information Officer to join our team in the Eastern Cape region. As an Information Officer, you will play a vital role in providing business advice, training, and information on Seda's products and services to various stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate branch events and activities, ensuring seamless execution and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Disseminate critical information to internal and external branch stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and making relevant referrals as needed.
- Conduct assessments and implement targeted interventions to address specific business needs.
- Organize and facilitate comprehensive training and information sessions to empower stakeholders with valuable knowledge.
- Maintain and update database records and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Business Management/Marketing or related field.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a customer-oriented environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of the small enterprise development sector, including exposure to its challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent events and training coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
