As a Senior Buyer, your key responsibilities will include managing the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also oversee the operations, ensuring that the company's objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.

To excel in this role, you will need at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be comfortable working with systems, data, and analysis, and possess strong leadership qualities to create and maintain a positive team environment.

Your duties will include preparing cash flow statements, management reports, and analyzing management information. You will review and approve credit notes, stock write-offs, payment schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations. Moreover, you will process month-end financial journals, maintain the fixed asset register, and prepare VAT and EMP returns on SARS e-filing.

You will also be responsible for managing KPIs for the team, setting individual team members' KPIs, and recommending salary increases and bonuses based on performance. Every two years, you will prepare and submit provisional tax returns on SARS e-filing. Annually, you will develop budgets and forecasts, prepare audit schedules, and process year-end audit journals.

Furthermore, you will assist in operations, monitor and report operational statistics, ensure the integrity of stock, review costing for imported and local stock, and oversee all stock takes at all warehouses.
