Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Project Manager to join our team at Job Masters Pty Ltd.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our HVAC projects from inception to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of complex HVAC projects.
  • Manage and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Lead project meetings, ensure issue resolution, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Technical MEP & HVAC knowledge, preferably with a National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct work experience in MEP or HVAC project management capacity, including process development and execution.
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies.
  • Project scheduling skills, with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong technical competence in MS Office applications.

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from various sources, including upper management, clients, subcontractors, and other departments.
  • Ability to defuse tension within the project team, if it arises.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Customer service skills an asset.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
