About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, focusing on tax compliance in Africa. As an International Tax Compliance Specialist Africa, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations across the continent are fully compliant with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy updates and change management to ensure seamless compliance
  • Implementing controls to maintain tax compliance standards
  • Negotiating with African countries and tax authorities to resolve any issues
  • Reviewing tax reconciliations to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing transfer pricing strategies
  • Cross-border transactions analysis and optimization
  • Expertise in dealing with complex tax regulations such as CFCs
  • Presenting tax reports to senior management members
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in taxation, preferably with international experience in Africa.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A BCom degree or equivalent qualification
  • A postgraduate qualification in taxation or related field
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of tax experience, preferably with international exposure
  • Proven expertise in international tax law and practice, particularly in Africa
