Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team at SanS Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective supply chain planning processes and systems to ensure seamless execution of production, material requirements, dispatch, and transportation planning.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Liaise with department managers to ensure accurate inventory levels and future goods flows, and to provide timely and relevant planning outputs.
  • Support the planning and introduction of new products from launch to retirement, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Adhere to company standards and policies, as well as regulatory requirements, to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Contribute to departmental and company planning and budgeting cycles, including the annual Business Plan Process.
  • Select, evaluate, and develop department employees, following general HR policies.
  • Evaluate training needs and develop plans to ensure staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor departmental operational and financial performance, and develop action plans to achieve targets.
  • Support the BU management team in implementing BU- and company-wide policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with planning managers of other group companies to share best practices and improve performance.
Requirements:
  • National diploma in supply chain management or planning.
  • Minimum 15 years of general work experience, with 6 years in a senior planning role.
  • Experience in SAP/ERP applications and excellent MS Office skills, particularly in advanced Excel.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing and consumer goods.

The position is based in a steel processing plant with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and heavy machinery. Occasional travel to other plants or supplier locations may be required. A valid driver's license and own car are essential.
