Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly
  • Perform repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Carry out scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Diagnose root cause of mechanical malfunctions and implement effective repairs
  • Manage stock control of parts required for maintenance and report low levels to the Maintenance Manager

Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent to NQF 4
  • Trade Test certificate
  • 3 years' post-trade experience
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Valid driver's license and transport
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a food manufacturing industry will be advantageous
