Clinical Administrator will be responsible for liaising with representatives daily regarding new patients, status of authorisations and stock requirements. This role involves requesting stock/units to be invoiced as soon as EMT receives request for NPWT - the Invoice Clerk will invoice stock on SAGE.
Patient information, including name, physical address, and contact numbers, must be communicated to the person opening the accounts on SAGE. The Clinical Administrator will also check/complete and submit motivation forms to the funders as soon as patient details are received.
The role requires checking validity of photographs and detail on motivation forms and contacting PNP/Rep regarding missing information. If missing information is requested from reps in writing, it should be escalated to Operations Manager.
Daily follow-ups with the funders on authorisations that have been submitted are necessary, with the responsibility of obtaining authorisation numbers/declines as soon as possible. Authorisations/declines need to be communicated to the respective Rep & PNP.
Inventory sent out and declined medical aid must be communicated to warehouse employees for collection. The Clinical Administrator must keep track of stock versus authorisations & reauthorisations with no duplications.
Assistance with office administration, including stationery, telephone calls, medical aid appointments, etc., is also required. Any other general or ad-hoc requests from the Operations Manager should be fulfilled.
