Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Create and implement strategies to optimize the company's financial performance and reduce costs.
  • Financial Advice and Guidance: Provide financial advice and guidance to upper management to inform business decisions.
  • Cash Flow and Financial Transactions: Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure proper allocation of funds.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure they are aligned with company goals.
  • Accounting Operations: Manage accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CA, CIMA, and SAICA.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in financial management within the radio and media industry, or similar.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel, good understanding of tax regulations and compliance, and ability to effectively communicate and present financial information to stakeholders.
