  • You will develop detailed engineering designs and provide support for cost estimation and tender document preparation.">
  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all designs are meticulously accurate, error-free, and delivered within project timelines and tender submission deadlines.">
  • This position is suitable for a dedicated Electrical Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality designs and contributing to dependable project estimations.">

Key Accountabilities:

  1. ">
  2. Read project specifications carefully, identify relevant codes and standards, and ensure conformity to requirements.">
  3. Plan work to deliver expected output on time, based on priority order set by supervisor.">
  4. Perform design modeling, prepare accurate calculation notes, and develop detailed designs according to related design manual and predefined design concept.">
  5. Prepare materials take-off, considering that design quantities and specifications do not surpass allocated budget for the project.">
  6. Prepare as-built drawings related to executed work on site and assist project design engineers in developing Operations & Maintenance Manual for future maintenance work.">
  7. Send internal emails and professional letters, attend internal meetings, and coordinate with relevant departments to provide technical assistance or receive clear orientation.">
  8. Do internal presentations on technical subjects to enhance presentation skills, prepare for external presentations, and share knowledge with colleagues.">
  9. Provide assistance to other departments and colleagues and give directives to CAD operators to deliver quality work.">
  10. Perform QA/QC activities for own, peers', and lower-level designs to detect, analyze, and eliminate discrepancies.">
  11. Acknowledge comments positively and learn from own and others' experience to increase capability and skill level and reduce risk of repeating mistakes.">
  12. Read tender documents carefully, get clear understanding of projects type and scope of work, and discuss relevant requirements and specifications with estimation team to ensure conformity during estimation process.">
  13. Prepare preliminary design of bid and/or pre-dimensioning on time and as per tenders requirements.">
  14. Prepare detailed BOQ to determine and confirm project quantities to be priced.">
  15. Request items quotations in conjunction with procurement department, analyze and compare received quotations, check their conformity to defined specifications, and discuss findings with senior estimation engineer to choose most suitable ones.">
  16. Collaborate with relevant departments to compile complete project offer, ensuring that all technical, financial, and commercial aspects are accurately integrated, reviewed, and aligned with tender requirements and company standards before submission.">

  • Participation in compiling final project offer, ensuring all estimation and technical aspects are accurate and aligned with tender requirements.">

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.">
  • ECSA membership (Pr. Eng.).">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.">
  • Understanding of engineering standards.">
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally.">
  • Good presentation capability.">
  • Good team member with concern for details, effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and safety.">
